The room was Spartan, but no worse than your regular roadside motel. It didn't have a microwave, but it did have a mini fridge. The beds were stiff, but comfortable enough if that's your thing Room service was prompt and accurate, Front desk was helpful and friendly, valet probably would have played hackey-sack and gave me a beer if they weren't on the clock. That is to say every staff member was a superstar and did everything they could to make us feel welcome! Great experience
I was having issues with parking in the area and I was on a time crunch, then I ran into the lovely company of Keito, Luis, Brilon and Teron. Not only did they go out of their way to help me, they did so in a professional manner. Absolutely amazing service. 10/10
Wow! Absolutely AMAZING customer service! I stay at hotels about once, twice a week for work. I frequent Marriott locations as well, I’m not sure if it is the location or ALL of the employees, but I have never experienced such amazing customer service from a regular hotel! It was similar to a resort experience for just a one night work trip! The attendants at front desk were so accommodating, & so kind as well. I unfortunately missed my flight and overslept, and I am not a bonvoy member either, and they gave me until 2 to enjoy the time I had until I was able to make my flight. Wow, I am so so pleased with this stay & this will be my permanent location when I visit Kansas City. Thank you again to all the hard working employees who made my stay such a pleasant one when I went though my own personal difficulties.
Sara from Group Reservations was very helpful and so knowledgeable with helping me with a group booking. She was prepared for any questions I had and was very prompt with her responses. I wish she was in group reservations at every hotel!
Wonderful service! The room was clean and had everything we needed. Front desk provided complimentary waters. We used Valet Parking and Mr. Brown was a true gentleman. He opened our doors for our bags and ran around to open my door as well. Very sweet and friendly!
One of the most all around pleasant staffs we have dealt with in a while. From the valets, to the front desk, to the restaurant, seemed genuinely happy to be there. We had early events, so the online room service pre-ordering made early breakfasts simple and convenient. The parking garage is easily accessible and the walk to the convention center is quick. BarCentral was super clean and comfortable after a long day. It has several types of seating options, can accommodate groups of all sizes, and is very spacious. The service was very quick and the food portions were large and very good. Definitely a well run establishment that provides a njce customer experience all around.
Very conveniently located in proximity to the convention center. Beds are very comfortable. Shower is a little awkward to figure out the first time. Sports bar off the lobby has a movie theater sized screen. Definitely recommend the Reuben sandwich and BBQ platter.
My room is unfortunately right next to the elevators so it is a bit difficult to sleep since I'm such a light sleeper. Regardless of that, I have a great view on the 21st floor and the room is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. It would be nice to have a microwave but didn't really need one myself. The cleaning staff has been wonderful as well. The highlight of this trip, however, is Rance. He is the one that did check-in and has helped me many times during this stay. He's friendly, professional, helpful, and funny! I do wish that coffee and a small breakfast was complimentary but with how big this hotel is that is probably not feasible. The coffee shop opens at 6 am and the people are really nice. The breakfast is a bit expensive for what it is but it is delicious and the staff are terrific! The bar/restaurant is good and they stay busy. I don't remember the bartender's name but he's honestly the best I've witnessed. He has a great memory, is fast, does multiple things all of the time, is friendly, and makes delicious drinks. Anyway, great experience, minus the elevator noise in my room. The star of the trip was Rance though!
